My friends say I am confused!
Confused about career, confused about life, confused about girls,
confused about everything in short.
This brings me to a question, what is confusion?
Dictionary meaning of confusion is disorder, shame, perdition, perplexity, embarassment, turmoil
I am myself not in any disorder nor I am causing disorder to anyone.
I am not causing shame to anyone with my actions nor am ashamed of anyone's actions.
I have not lost the soul, so perdition is ruled out.
Perplexed, I haven't yet reached that level.
Similar is the case with embarassment and turmoil.
According to Lord Shri Krishna, Confusion is a state of mind when path of knowledge and path of actions lead us in different directions, sometimes, opposed to each other. (Read chapter 3 of Bhagvadgita). Lord Krishna says that aspirant follows the path of knowledge while seeker follows the path of action.
na karmanam anaarambhaan naishkarmyam purushoshnute
na cha sannyasanaadev siddhiimm samadhigacchati
Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attaion perfection.
